The i.g. Burton Auto Group is proud to sponsor Go Topless Day on May 16, a global celebration where Jeep owners remove their vehicle’s tops and doors to welcome the start of spring and the open-air freedom that defines the Jeep lifestyle.
While the day is known for bringing Jeep enthusiasts together for a fun, community-driven ride, it also serves a greater purpose—supporting charitable organizations that reflect the values of service, adventure, and stewardship shared by the Jeep community.
This year, the event will benefit two organizations: Protection4Paws and BlueRibbon Coalition.
Protection4Paws is driven by a passion for K9s and a deep respect for the law enforcement officers who work alongside them. The organization’s mission focuses on providing essential, lifesaving equipment to K9 teams nationwide who may otherwise face challenges obtaining critical gear. As part of the event, K9 teams from Worcester County will be in attendance and will be among the beneficiaries supported through this initiative.
The BlueRibbon Coalition has been working since 1987 to preserve recreation access to America’s public lands. Serving members in all 50 states, the nonprofit advocates for responsible outdoor recreation and works across many sectors to ensure that off-road and overlanding adventures remain possible for future generations. Through grassroots advocacy and legal action—including victories that reached the U.S. Supreme Court—the organization continues to defend access to public lands.
Supporting the BlueRibbon Coalition is especially meaningful for the Jeep community, as their work helps protect access to the trails, beaches, and backcountry routes that make adventure possible—including iconic destinations like Assateague Island National Seashore, where off-highway vehicle access allows visitors to explore the coastline in a uniquely memorable way.
“Go Topless Day is more than just a celebration of Jeep culture,” organizers said. “It’s a chance to bring people together, enjoy the outdoors, and support organizations that protect both our communities and the places we love to explore.”
With Jeeps topless, doors off, and spring in the air, the May 16 celebration promises a day of adventure, community, and meaningful impact.
